Apply a small amount to scalp and strands. Chebe Pomade has been through a process to saturate the powder into the oils for a period of time to absorb into the oils then strained to prevent itchy scalp. It may be used by entire family including children. But we always suggest applying some to skin and make sure that there is no allergic reactions.
